Synergy With The Ministry Of Housing, Bank Mandiri Acceleration Of The 3 Million House Program Through KPP Socialization In Tangerang

TANGERANG - Bank Mandiri reiterated its commitment as a strategic partner of the government in encouraging the acceleration of national housing development. This commitment is realized through the implementation of the Housing Program Credit (KPP) socialization aimed at business actors in the housing sector, in line with the target of the 3 Million Houses Program in the period RPJMN 2025 2029.

Synergizing with the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), this socialization took place in Tangerang on Thursday, November 20, and was attended by more than 875 participants from the housing industry. The details, more than 315 business actors in terms of supply, consist of developers, contractors, and building materials stores, as well as more than 260 micro business actors from the demand side who attended as potential users of financing facilities.

This composition of participants reflects the involvement of the entire housing sector in supporting the strengthening of the national housing ecosystem. Through this meeting, the bank with the gold band logo emphasized its role in supporting the acceleration of government housing programs, both at the central and regional levels.

As a strategic partner of the government, the bank codenamed BMRI shares encourages the acceleration of the 3 Million House Program through KPP socialization aimed at MSMEs and the public to build or renovate houses. This program is regulated in Permenko No. 13/2025 and Permen PKP No. 13/2025 and functions as working capital credit or investment that can be utilized by business actors and individuals in the housing sector.

*Vice President Director of Bank Mandiri, Henry Panjaitan, said that Bank Mandiri's support for the distribution of KPP is part of a strategic step to strengthen the housing sector inclusively and sustainably. KPP financing not only supports construction actors, developers, and building materials traders, but also encourages the empowerment of MSMEs in various regions.

"Through close collaboration between the government and banks, it is hoped that this program will be able to expand job opportunities, improve the quality of human resources, and strengthen national competitiveness towards the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, as well as be in line with Asta Cita Pemerintah," he said.

According to the provisions, KPP can be accessed by applicants who meet general provisions, such as Indonesian citizens or Indonesian legal entities, have productive businesses that have been running for at least six months, have NPWP and NIB, and do not have negative records based on trading checking, community checking, bank checking, or SHIPping. Applicants are also not receiving KUR or other KPPs, although they are still allowed to have commercial credit as long as their status is smooth.

In the financing process, principal collateral in the form of objects financed by KPP is used as collateral, with the possibility of adding other collateral in accordance with the provisions of lending. In addition, the KPP program reaches all MSME segments.

Micro businesses have a capital of up to IDR 1 billion, small businesses of up to IDR 5 billion, and medium-sized businesses of up to IDR 10 billion, with a maximum annual turnover range of IDR 2 billion for micro to IDR 50 billion for the middle.

With a wide scope, KPP targets business actors engaged in housing supply ranging from developers, contractors, to building materials traders as well as the community or individual MSMEs who need financing to buy, build, or renovate houses that also function as business premises.
