West Java Police Chief Optimize CCTV Monitoring Disruption-Prone Paths

West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan ensured that surveillance cameras or CCTV were installed on disturbance-prone lanes such as congestion, traffic violations, and those that could hinder vehicle flow to facilitate rapid monitoring and handling of Christmas and New Year's security.

"It will be 'mirrored' later, I ask that the Command Center at the Regional Police can be seen," said the Kapolda while reviewing the readiness of the southern route in the Ciamis Regency area, Thursday, November 20.

He said his staff were trying their best to provide services to the community regarding ensuring security, order, and safety during the security of Christmas and New Year's Day.

As in Ciamis, he said, it is also confirmed that personnel and infrastructure are ready, one of which is installed CCTV on the track so that it can be easily monitored at the monitoring post.

"So I can (monitore) even though I am not in Banjar (on the route), if there is a traffic jam, there is a traffic violation, and other crowds, this can be monitored," he said.

He conveyed that the results of the field review were ready to secure the year-end holiday season, including the national road conditions in the Ciamis area which were quite good.

The Regent of Ciamis also, he said, reported that the condition of the national road and others was in good condition, if there was a damaged road, it would certainly be repaired immediately.

"The Regent has conveyed to me that this road condition is in good condition, and if there are still holes and all kinds of things will be repaired immediately," he said.

Meanwhile, Ciamis Police Chief AKBP Hidayatullah added that his staff had prepared personnel, route security strategies, security posts, and preparedness to face increased community mobility during the year-end holiday season.

The police chief also ensures that cross-sectoral coordination with other stakeholders is always to create a safe and orderly situation.
