Bahlil's Response To The Constitutional Court Prohibited Police From Occupying Civil Positions

Jakarta - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia responded to the decision of the Constitutional Court which prohibited active police from holding civilian positions. Bahlil revealed that currently there are a number of active police officers who are in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. One of them is a three-star police officer who serves as Inspector General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to Bahlil, the presence of active police at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources actually strengthens the regulatory control and enforcement system.
