Printing A New Generation, POPNAS 2025 Encourages The Birth Of Young Badminton Athletes

JAKARTA - Badminton sports are increasingly showing their prestige among young Indonesians. Not only is it a recreational activity, badminton is now seen as an achievement sport that provides great opportunities for young athletes to appear on the national to international stage.

The enthusiasm of the younger generation can be seen from the increasing number of student competitions, athletes to new badminton clubs, to communities that develop in various regions.

The event which took place on November 1'10, 2025, presented student athletes from 38 provinces, as well as a training platform for young Indonesian talents. One of the young athletes who achieved achievements at the XVII 2025 POPNAS was the men's doubles pair Bobby Claudio and Darrel Fawwaz, who contributed gold medals for DKI Jakarta. Bobby told about their preparation journey.

Bobby is proud because he has been able to present a gold medal for DKI Jakarta at the POPNAS XVII 2025 event. Over the past three months we have undergone intensive training, ranging from physical training, engineering, to strength training.
