Realization Of Subsidies And Compensation Until October 2025 Reaches IDR 315 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance reported that the realization of subsidy payments and compensation until October 2025 reached IDR 315 trillion or 66.3 percent of the state budget outlook. This figure is 3.7 percent lower than the same period last year.

Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara explained that out of this total, subsidies reached Rp194.9 trillion, while compensation was Rp120 trillion.

"If the subsidy is regularly paid every month, if the compensation in 2024 has been paid off, and in the first quarter of 2025 it has been paid," he said at a press conference on our State Budget, Thursday, November 20.

As for the compensation payment for the second quarter of 2025, the government plans to distribute it in November or early December 2025.

In addition, the subsidized fuel quota that has been distributed reaches 13.91 thousand kiloliters, equivalent to 72 percent of the 19.41 thousand kilo liter target.

Next, 3 kg LPG subsidies have been distributed as much as 6.35 million kg, or 78 percent of the 8.17 million kg ceiling. Meanwhile, 42.5 million electricity subsidies have been enjoyed, exceeding the 41.3 million subscriber ceiling or 101.1 percent.

"The subsidized electricity is increasing, meaning that more people will receive electricity connections at subsidized prices," he said.

In addition, fertilizer subsidies have been distributed 6.5 million tons or 73 percent of the 8.9 million tons ceiling, while housing subsidies have been enjoyed by 172,100 houses, equivalent to 72 percent of the 240,000 house target.
