Compensation Payments To SOEs Energy Becomes Every Month, Purbaya: Take Care Of Cashflow

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive has set new rules regarding the payment of compensation funds to energy SOEs such as PT PLN (Persero) and PT Pertamina (Persero). This rule is contained in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 73 of 2025 and signed since November 6, 2025 and is valid on November 19, 2025

Through this regulation, the disbursement of compensation funds to PLN and Pertamina will apply every month with a total of 70 percent of the bill review results.

Purbaya said that the disbursement is carried out every month in order to maintain the cash flow of the energy company that provides assignments from the government.

"Indeed, to repair cash flow and also so that I am not accused of not paying debts," said Purbaya when met in Jakarta, Thursday, November 20.

Through this regulation, he believes that PLN and Pertamina's cash flow will be better than before.

Just so you know, previously payments were made every three months, after a review of the bills given every 10th after the quarterly period ended.

"The cash flow will be better for them, every month they will get 70 percent, later 30 percent will be calculated in September. So if that's not enough, the rest will be paid every September," said Purbaya.
