Officially Launching OriginOS 6, Vivo Now Offers 7 Years Of OS Support

When introducing the vivo X300 Series in Indonesia on Thursday, November 20, information on operating system support (OS) for this phone is in the spotlight because of its duration range.

The company now provides support for an OS update of up to 7 years. This means that the X300 Series and a newer phone will get OriginOS updates support up to 7 years after the device is launched.

"We are proud to convey the improvement of our update system for up to 7 years," said Product Manager of vivo Indonesia Hadie Mandala at the X300 Series launch event which was held at The Tribrata Hotel, South Jakarta.

In addition to announcing OS support for 7 years vivo, it also officially announced the launch of OriginOS 6 in Indonesia through the X300 Series. This latest OS comes with a number of improvements, ranging from design, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and others.

In this update, OriginOS 6 focuses on viewing to smooth performance. OriginOS 6 is capable of loading thousands of photos instantly and maintaining a smooth performance, even with 47 applications open on the background.

OriginOS 6 also embeds AI Productivity through the OfficeKit vivo, which allows smooth connectivity between smartphones and PCs, including Windows and Macbooks. Features such as Screen Mirroring and Remote PC are also available to facilitate file transfer and management.

Another prominent AI feature is AI Caption in an online meeting. This feature not only transcribes all conversations, but is also able to translate and create important summaries of points in the meeting automatically.

Finally, Vivo still prioritizes security and privacy through vivo Security which offers the best protection. Users can also take advantage of the Private Space feature to store important files and applications that require special confidentiality.
