2 Men Who Crossed Out The Red And White Flag Arrested By The Bali Police, Annoyed RKUHAP Ratified By The DPR
Bali Police and Jembrana Police arrested two perpetrators of the reduction and removal of the red and white flag at the Pecangakan Park, in front of the Jembrana Regent's office.
The two youths with the initials KAC (24) and KAK (25) carried out vandalism in several places when they returned to their hometowns to Jembrana Regency, Bali.
Director of General Investigation and Crime (Direskrimum) of the Bali Police Kombes I Gede Adhi Mulyawarman said the motive for the two perpetrators to carry out the vandalism was because they did not agree with the Draft Criminal Procedure Code (RKUHAP) to be ratified into law.
"He without ever reading the RKUHAP himself, he reads on several social media. He, feeling that RKUHAP is the country's freedom to arrest and detain people without rules. Incidentally, there may be some bad events experienced, related to a violation, thus making him disagree with the country's government system, that's his confession," said Kombes I Gede Adhi, Thursday, November 20.

"They went to the flagpole, were lowered and carried out a deletion of approximately the letters of the RKUHAP were read. They were raised again and lowered again for the letter A which was given a symbol which according to their recognition, a symbol like the symbol of anarchy needed to be added," he added.
In addition, both of them also carried out vandalism in three locations with a close time at the Ngurah Rai gas station, Negara District, Jembrana, writing with the word 'Reefer'.
The same graffiti was carried out by the two perpetrators at the public market security post, Bahagia Negara and at the gate of the Livestock Facilities Warehouse on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jembrana.
"That's what we regret about them. Why not ask them, why not read and so on, because legal education is also not, legal practitioners also do not and so on. So that things are wrong about the information in their minds, that later there will be victims if (RKUHAP) is implemented according to their version," he explained.
