Porsche Cayenne Electric Officially Identified, Apparatus Specifications And Can Charge Without Cables

JAKARTA Porsche has finally officially introduced the Cayenne Electric 2026 as their fifth generation electric SUV. This model comes in two variants, namely the standard Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric, which is the most powerful version.

"Cayenne Electric shows performance in a completely new dimension, with the innovative technology we have developed in the racing world. This car sets new standards in the SUV segment, both in terms of driving characteristics and charging," said Porsche Executive Council Chair AG Oliver Blume, quoted from the official Porsche website, Thursday, November 20.

In terms of design, the Cayenne Electric retains a typical Porsche character with a slimmer 'flyline' roof line. The wheelbase now extends about five inches, but the overall length only increases slightly.

For the Turbo model, there is an active aero blade at the stern that works at speeds above 64 km/h and functions to lower air drag, thus increasing the efficiency of the distance.

The interior displays a modern digital layout with a 12.25-inch main touch screen leading to the driver's position. An additional 14.9-inch screen option for forward passengers is also available.

The interface design is made cleaner, with a mix of physical buttons and touch areas on the center console. Turning to the performance side, the Turbo Electric variant is the center of attention because it is able to generate up to 1,139 horsepower with a torque of around 1,500 Nm.

Porsche claims its acceleration from 0100 km/hour can be reached in about 2.5 seconds for the Cayenne Turbo. Meanwhile, from 0-200 km/hour in 7.4 seconds, and reaches a maximum speed of 260 km/hour.

For the standard choice, Cayenne Electric offers 435 horsepowers. Acceleration of 0100 km/h is claimed to be in the range of 4.8 seconds, with the highest speed of 230 km/hour.

"A remarkable electrical performance combines with real daily uses. Extraordinary remote comfort combined with unmatched offroad capabilities," said Oliver Blume.

Both variants use an 800-volt electric architecture and a clean capacity battery of 113 kWh. The range is based on a combined WLTP of up to 642 km for Cayenne Electric and up to 623 km for Turbo.

The battery pack is combined into a body structure to lower the center of gravity, expand the cabin space, and make the vehicle profile lower. The charging system is also one of the main advantages.

Porsche says Cayenne Electric supports fast charging of up to 400 kW, allowing charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in less than 16 minutes, during adequate infrastructure.

Cayenne Electric is also the first Porsche to optionally support inductive charging, which is a charging system of up to 11 kW. Via Porsche Wireless Charging only requires users to park on the floor plate, and the charging process then starts automatically.

Porsche set the starting price for the Cayenne Electric standard at 111,350 US dollars, or approximately IDR 1.8 billion. While the Cayenne Turbo Electric is marketed starting at 165,350 US dollars, or around IDR 2.7 billion, both variants will be sent to the global market by the end of next summer.
