2 Members Of The NTB DPRD Of Corruption Suspects Suspected Of Being Money Collectors To Council Members
The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office revealed the role of two legislators, namely Indra Jaya Usman alias IJU and Muhammad Nashib Ikroman alias MNI in the alleged NTB Provincial DPRD gratification case.
"So, they give money to several members of the council. They give it," said Assistant for Special Crimes at the NTB Prosecutor's Office Muh. Zulkifli Said in Mataram, Thursday, November 20, as reported by ANTARA.
When asked for certainty regarding the status of the money, whether from the private sector or state money, Zulkifli chose not to explain this to the public.
"Later, it will be because this is still deepening everything," he said, refusing to provide information regarding the source of the money.
The money, which is now the object of this gratification case, totals around Rp. 2 billion. The nominal amount of money was revealed by the prosecutor as a deposit from 15 members of the NTB DPRD who received it from the two suspects.
Zulkifli emphasized that the money is now complete evidence, in addition to obtaining information from witnesses and experts.
For this evidence, investigators named the MNI IJUD as a suspect and continued to detention by applying the alleged Article 5 paragraph (1) letter b of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001.
Regarding the application of criminal investment regulated in Article 55 of the Criminal Code, he stated that the investigation had not led to this.
"We'll see. What is clear is that it hasn't reached there (Article 55 of the Criminal Code)," he added.

The detention of the two is calculated to run from today to the next 20 days according to the first detention period in the investigation stage.
