Some MRT Stations Have Operated After Electricity Disruption, Here's The List
JAKARTA - Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Rendy Primartantyo revealed that some of the Jakarta MRT stations had returned to serve passengers after service disruptions that had occurred since this morning.
MRT Jakarta operations are still running on limited routes, with stations operating starting from Lebak Bulus Station, Fatmawati Indomaret Station, Cipete Raya Station, Haji Nawi Station, Block A Station, and Blok M BCA Station.
"MRT Jakarta is currently running a limited travel route scheme, namely the operation of services from Blok M BCA Station to Lebak Bulus Station and also the opposite route using four train series," Rendy said in his statement, Thursday, November 20.
The cessation of MRT Jakarta's operations due to disturbances occurred since 10.26 WIB. The disturbance occurred due to a fallen tree on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Kebayoran Baru, or in the route transition area from Senayan Mastercard Station to ASEAN Station. This causes damage to the structure and disruption of the electricity network.
"At the time of the incident, it was recorded that five series were at the station and three series were on track," said Rendy.
When the train service was stopped, MRT officers immediately asked all passengers to get off the train and go to the nearest station with the officer's guide in the field. A number of passengers took turns leaving the carriage in the evacuation process.
"MRT Jakarta has completed the evacuation process according to procedures for 524 customers from a number of train and affected station areas," he said.
Currently, the handling process is still being carried out by the Jakarta MRT operational and technical team to restore services. Rendy appealed to customers to temporarily consider the use of other alternative public transportation.
"PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) apologizes for the inconvenience experienced by customers due to operational disturbances that occurred today," said Rendy.
Meanwhile, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung asked all Jakarta MRT services to return to normal operations this afternoon. Currently, handling is still being carried out. Pramono revealed that now the MRT has returned to operate services on short routes that do not cross the point of the fallen tree.

"Now this is for the short loop from Pondok Labu (Lebak Bulus) to Blok M, to ASEAN it can be done. Indeed, in the place where the tree was hit, the electricity had not been damaged, and hopefully in the next 3-4 hours it can be done," explained Pramono.
