Mother And Sister Receive The First Victory Cup Gusti Irwan Wibowo At The AMI Awards

JAKARTA - The 2025 Indonesian Music Award (AMI) has again recorded an emotional moment. The late Gusti Irwan Wibowo was named the winner in the category of Best Alternative Solo Dangdut Artist through a single entitled 'Culted by Love'.

Her mother and sister came to receive the winning trophy from the most prestigious music award event in Indonesia.

Bunga Nafisa, Gusti's younger brother, was unable to cover her happiness. But on the one hand, he was sad because his older brother could not receive the first trophy directly.

"I'm really happy, thank God. I'm just sad that Mas Gusti isn't here," said Bunga, when she received the award at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 19.

"This is a trophy for mas, hard work mas," continued Bunga. Dam, thank you very much to AMI for appreciating Mad Gusti's work.

In addition, the mother became the happiest person for Gusti's victory this time. He said that his son really wanted to be able to bring home the AMI Awards.

"I'm actually a cheerful person, but really touched, because I know the struggle of Gusti Irwan Wibowo, who has been around for five years, finally he reached the process which is now getting the AMI Awards he really wants," said the mother.

Gusti is not the only musician who won posthumus or posthumous victory at the AMI Awards.

Last year, Melitha Sidabutar won in the category of Best Christian Spiritual Lyric Song Production, through her song entitled 'A Helper In Miscarriage'.
