Still Far From The Target, Investment In The Marine And New Fisheries Sector Is IDR 7.45 Trillion
The realization of investment in the marine and fisheries (KP) sector is estimated to be only IDR 7.45 trillion until the third quarter of 2025. In fact, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) targets the investment value in the sector to reach IDR 13.11 trillion by the end of the year.
This means that around IDR 6 trillion is still needed to achieve this target in the remaining 1.5 months.
This was conveyed by KKP Secretary General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho at the Investment and Business Matching event entitled "Accelerate National Economic Growth Through Downstreaming of Fisheries in Jakarta, Thursday, November 20.
"By 2025, the marine and fisheries sector has targeted an investment of IDR 13.11 trillion. In the third quarter of 2025, investment realization is estimated to have reached IDR 7.45 trillion. Therefore, we need to encourage investment in the marine and fisheries sector so that it can be realized according to the set target," he said.
Meanwhile, based on the calculation of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, it takes PMA and PMDN investment of Rp. 13,033 trillion during 2025-2029 to realize the national economic growth target of 8 percent.
