Geely Presents Updates For The EM-i Strarry Model, What Are The Changes?

Geely gave an attractive car choice in China's local market by presenting the latest Starship 7 EM-i or known as Strarry EM-i in the global market, including Indonesia.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, November 20, this new model is available in four variants, with official guide prices ranging from 95,800 to 123,800 yuan or around Rp225-291 million.

The main advantage of Starship 7 EM-i 2026 is its broader pure electric driving range, with the top model now offering an impressive pure electric range of CLTC as far as 200 km. The entry level variant also gains an increase in CLTC's pure electric range from 55 km to 130 km, with the 135 km option also available. The maximum combined range reaches 1,575 km.

Built on the basis of GEA's new energy exclusive architecture, the Starship 7 EM-i 2026 maintains its position as a compact SUV and largely retains its exterior design.

The front display features a closed grip design, equipped with a continuous LED daytime light strip and sharp headlights, and now gets a new Star Sea Blue color.

This vehicle has a length of 4,740 mm, a width of 1,905 mm, and a height of 1,685 mm. The wheelbase is 2,755 mm. The back has a pretty familiar rearlight design, while the bottom bumper integrates the layout of the hidden exhaust.

In the interior, the 2026 model offers an interior color choice of "Starship Gray". The technological upgrade includes a larger 15.4-inch Flyme Auto infotainment screen (from 14.6 inches), a 14-dot massage chair and an unlimited Flyme Sound 16 speaker audio system.

Behind the hood, the latest Starship 7 EM-i is powered by the latest Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 system. Even though the engine power of the 1.5L hybrid plug-in system remains 82 kilowatts, the driving force has been upgraded from 160 kW (215 hp) to 175 kW (235 hp). For advanced driver assistance, this vehicle is equipped with a Qianli Haohan H3 smart driving assistance solution.
