Telegram Can Now Broadcast Live And Send Repeat Messages Automatically

JAKARTA Telegram announced the launch of a unique feature. Starting Wednesday, November 19, users can not only share content on Stories, but can also broadcast live.

The feature available on almost all social media is named Live Stories. The concept is similar to the live Instagram broadcast, where users can activate the broadcast option when opening the Stories section.

Meanwhile, from the audience side, users can send comments or interact directly. The concept is similar to the two people who streamed simultaneously, but are seen on the same screen as video chats.

To make the broadcast more interesting, Telegram also added the Stars feature. As the name suggests, this star-shaped icon is placed in the lower corner for viewers who want to appreciate creators or streamers.

Interestingly, messages from viewers can be highlighted and embedded using Telegram Stars. Telegram Stars functions as a supporting currency in this feature and the accumulation of stars can be seen.

"Live Stories can be launched from user accounts, groups, and channels that have enabled Stories post features via boosts. Live Stories offer the same privacy control as regular Stories: Everyone, My contacts, Close Friends, and Selected Users," explained Telegram.

In addition to live broadcasts, Telegram also adds a new feature in the chat room. Users can now send messages repeatedly every day or even twice per month. This feature is designed for a consistent habit.

To schedule repeated messages, users simply press and hold the 'Send' arrow in any chat. After that, tap the 'Recover' option and select the desired repeat interval.
