Piastri And Norris Harmonis Relations When Competing For The 2025 F1 World Champion

JAKARTA Oscar Piastri claims that his relationship with McLaren's teammate, Lando Norris, is getting closer amidst the competition for the 2025 Formula 1 (F1) world title.

Currently, the two names occupy the top two positions in the drivers' standings. Piastri is in second place behind Norris who occupies the first position.

Piastri said that competing for the title did not make them blind and forget themselves. He emphasized that their relationship was better than before.

"We get to know each other better after three years together as teammates. So, we slowly get to know each other better," he said as quoted by Crash.

On the way to win glory on this year's calendar, of course there are some hot moments involving Piastri and Norris.

Norris was recorded to have hit the back of the Piastri at the Canadian Grand Prix F1 and overtook aggressively in Singapore which irritated Piastri.

Piastri said that such incidents were very natural on track. However, they do not hold grudges against each other at all.

"There may be a moment of emotion off the track, but I think we're both pretty good at letting things subside and moving on," he said.

Norris currently has collected 390 points and is 24 points ahead of his colleagues. Apart from these two teammates, four-time world champion Max Verstappen also still has a chance to defend his title.

Verstappen trailed in third place with a collection of 341 points. With three races remaining in this year's calendar, he could steal a last-minute chance to make the MlcLaren duo bite his finger.
