Papua Police Chief: Persecution Of TNI Soldiers In Dekai Allegedly By Senaff Soll's Group
JAKARTA - Papua Police Chief, Insp. Gen. Mathius D. Fakhiri said the perpetrators of the persecution that killed two TNI soldiers in Dekai, allegedly the Senaff Soll group.
According to him, there are indications of the involvement of Senaff Soll's group in the case that killed two members of Yonif Linud 432 Kostrad, but who is the executor is still under investigation.
"Be patient, the investigation is certainly getting narrower," said Insp. Gen. Fakhiri, in Jayapura quoted by Antara, Sunday, May 23.
The Papua Police Chief, who claimed to have just finished releasing the body of Papua Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal who was flown to Timika, stated that the pursuit was still being carried out, considering that in addition to killing two TNI soldiers, Senaff Soll's group also carried two organic firearms and ammunition.
In addition to the pursuit that also received assistance from local governments, community leaders, and religious leaders who tried to approach the group, in order to return the firearms taken.
"Hopefully the approach taken by the local government and the community will come to fruition," said Insp. Gen. Fakhiri.

Senaff Soll, a former TNI soldier who was fired for being involved in the sale of ammunition to armed criminal groups (KKB) in Timika, was previously involved in the murder of KPU Staff Yahukimo Hendry Jovinski, in September 2020.
The case of persecution that led to the deaths of two TNI soldiers from Yonif Linud 432 Kostrad, namely Second Soldier Yudi and Head Soldier Alif, occurred Tuesday, May 18, and the bodies of both have been buried in their respective hometowns.
