West Java Prosecutor's Office Receives Report On Alleged Gratification Of The Catut Public Prosecutor's Project Name The Governor Of Demul
The West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) received a report regarding the alleged practice of gratification and profiteering the name of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (Demul) on a public street lighting project (PJU) in West Java.
Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the West Java Prosecutor's Office, Nur Sricahyawijaya, said the report was filed by the West Java Anti-Corruption Youth Association (APAK) DPP with an attachment of documents.
"It's true, yesterday (18 November) afternoon a report was submitted, including the attachment of documents from the West Java APak," Cahya said when confirmed in Bandung, Wednesday, in Antara.
However, Cahya said he could not explain further about the reported work, including the attached documents, whether evidence or not.
"Because it has entered the leadership first," he said.
Meanwhile, separately, the Chairman of the West Java APAK DPP Yadi Suryadi explained the findings of his team in the field that the alleged gratification plus profiteering of the governor's name occurred in the procurement of PJU for the 2025 fiscal year, especially at the UPTD 3 Cirebon West Java Transportation Agency and UPTD 4 Garut West Java Transportation Agency.
Yadi revealed that after his party asked for an explanation from the West Java Transportation Service, the data received actually strengthened their findings.
The parties suspected of being involved, according to him, came from ASN elements, namely those with the initials TG and DN, then a member of the technical team at the West Java Transportation Agency with the initials AG, then US and AFR from the employers' association.
"All parties are suspected of being involved in the tender monitoring scheme by using the governor's name as legitimacy," he said.
The tender-winning company for the project, said Yadi, is PT IDF. Gratification transactions are said to have occurred in August 2025 at a restaurant in the Setiabudi area, Bandung City, with a value of up to IDR 7 billion for PJU work budgeted for the area of IDR 200 billion.
"Those who sell the name are from the employers' association, not ASN. Our intelligence mentions transactions of around Rp. 7 billion (for the UPTD fee) from the YL envoy, the IDF manager in the 100 US dollar denomination to ASN elements," he said.

Allegations of this violation, said Yadi, have been reported by APAK to the West Java Prosecutor's Office with various evidences, in the form of photos, screenshots of WhatsApp conversations, and five people who are ready to testify regarding the alleged practice of gratification.
Yadi assessed that the core issue was not only about the flow of money, but the misuse of the governor's name in the tender winning process to smooth out their appointment in PJU projects in a number of areas.
"There are indications that there are parties who sell the governor's name in the PJU project in West Java," said Yadi.
Yadi emphasized that the practice of profiteering the governor's name tarnished the credibility of regional leaders.
"Even though the Governor is aggressively carrying out anti-corruption programs, below there are structural elements who do contradictory things," said Yadi.
