Anticipating Year-End Extreme Weather, Pertamina Build Up Stock
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that fuel oil (BBM) supplies throughout Indonesia remain available despite the risk of extreme weather at the end of the year.
Pertamina's President Director, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, said that to anticipate extreme weather that often occurs at the end of the year, his party builds up stock so that fuel supplies remain available. This build-up is carried out, especially in locations and islands that are difficult to reach and remote areas.
"Anticipation of the weather is annual, we have to build up stock in advance, especially for places that are far away, islands that are a bit remote," Simon told the media crew, Wednesday, November 19.

In order to maintain energy operations during the Nataru Task Force period, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) as Upstream Subholding is committed to maintaining the availability of domestic crude oil supply of 31.5 million barrels (Bbl) for the needs of refineries throughout the time of the task force.
Meanwhile, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has alerted 117 fuel terminals (TBBM), 43 LPG Terminals (TLPG), and 72 Aircraft Charging Depots (DPPU) in a fully ready-to-operation condition.
