Jafar/Felisha are in an inconsistent appearance. Since they won the BWF Super 300 Taipei Open 2025 last May, the appearance of this couple has been ups and downs.
As many as 12 tournaments they participated in after that, eight of them returned in the second half. As for the remaining four tournaments, they two returned in the quarter-finals, one in the first half, and one in the semifinals.
"Our determination remains the same, we want to win every match until we win. If we look back, now we focus on the stage by stage so that our performance can be stable and good," said Felisha.
In the second round, Jafar/Felisha are waiting for the winner of the duel between Wu Guan Xun/Lee Chia Hsin (China Taipei) against Desiree Toepffer/Calvin Deveux (Germany).
Jafar also has ambitions to go far in this tournament after the unsatisfactory results they have received in the latest tournaments.
"We want to make up for the poor results in several backward tournaments, but have returned again since yesterday's results, his confidence has decreased. So, I want to return him to believe it," he said.
Adnan/Indah previously qualified after winning over deputy host Edward Lau/Shaunna Li. The victory of the two pairs made Indonesia's mixed doubles in this tournament all safe.
