Suzuki GSX-8R and V-Strom 1050 RE Unveil a New Look
JAKARTA – Suzuki has introduced new colors for two of its flagship models, the GSX-8R and V-Strom 1050RE. These updates focus on visual appearance, with no changes to performance or technical features.
The GSX-8R now comes in a wider range of color options. The white variant is paired with blue rims, while the matte black version offers more contrast thanks to the red rims. Suzuki's signature Metallic Triton Blue remains available, but now with black rims, a minor update that adds a more assertive look.
Meanwhile, the V-Strom 1050RE gets three new color options. A gray colorway combined with black and red decals and red rims is a striking option. There's also solid black for riders who prefer a more understated look, and Matt Steel Green is a standout color thanks to its more modern character.
As reported by Visordown on Wednesday, November 19, both models retain their engine configurations. The GSX-8R still features a 776cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 81.7 bhp and 57.5 lb-ft of torque.
The V-Strom 1050RE also retains its 1,037cc V-twin engine, producing 106 bhp and 73.7 lb-ft of torque. The new color options were unveiled at Motorcycle Live 2025, held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, England.
