Suzuki Exports 30 Thousand Furnx And 150 Thousand Satria Until 2027

JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM) officially started export shipments for its two flagship models, Suzuki Fronx and Suzuki Satria to various countries in Southeast Asia. This is part of the company's strategy to strengthen the role of its production facilities as an export base.

President Director of PT SIM Minuru Amano, said that his party is targeting the export of 30 thousand Electronics and 150 thousand Satria units by 2027. Both models are prepared as regular export products to strengthen supply to destination countries.

The inaugural exports of Fronx and Satria are a tangible form of Indonesia's readiness to compete in the international market. We produce global standardized vehicles and are able to adjust to the regulations of destination countries," said Minuru Amano in Cikarang, Tuesday, November 18.

Minuru explained that since starting car exports in 1993, Suzuki has sent around 800 thousand units to various countries. For motorcycles, exports have been running since 1994, with total shipments reaching around 1.5 million units.

"Every unit we send to foreign markets is a representation of industrial competence and confidence in the quality of Indonesian workers," he added.

Suzuki Funx is estimated to account for about 30 percent of the total exports of Suzuki cars by 2027. Meanwhile, Satria is targeted to account for about 60 percent of the total motorcycle exports in the same period.

"This export not only expands the global business footprint of Suzuki, but also provides multiplicities of economic benefits for the local supply ecosystem, human resources, and the national economy. We will continue to strengthen and secure Indonesia's central position on the world automotive stage," said Minuru.
