AHM Freshs Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin, Price Is IDR 647 Million
JAKARTA PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has again strengthened their big bike adventure line by launching the latest CRF1100L Africa Twin which is now appearing with several updates. This refresh includes new color choices and stripping that further emphasize the character of a true adventurer motorcycle.
CRF1100L Africa Twin comes with a new Matte Ballistic Black Metallic color dominated by gray and red striping black, providing a tough and mysterious aura. Tricolor's iconic color, which is a combination of red, blue, and white, is maintained for those who want to appear more striking with the typical Honda Adventure identity.
The new design line strengthens the aggressive and premium impression, combined with a powerful engine that is ready to support the lifestyle of Indonesian explorers. The marketing director of AHM, Octavianus Dwi, said that the refresher of the Africa Twin is the answer to the needs of premium motorcycle adventure lovers in Indonesia.

CRF1100L Africa Twin is equipped with a 1.080 cc 4-stroke SOHC engine which is now capable of generating 75 kW of power at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 112 Nm at 5.500 rpm. The compression ratio rose to 10.5:1, making the power character feel full at each engine round.
This motorbike maintains 4+2 riding mode, namely Tour, Urban, Gravel, and Off-road. Two additional modes can be adjusted by motorists, giving flexibility in managing performance according to needs in various terrains. One of the biggest improvements comes in the suspension sector.
The latest Africa Twin already uses the Electronicly Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) on the inverted front suspension. Drivers can choose the suspension setting electronically with four preload options, including custom mode that can be adjusted when driving alone, riding together, or carrying baggage.

The front look now looks more aggressive, combined with a seat design and a ramp tank with a capacity of 18.8 liters which makes control more agile when eating off-road trajectories. The distinctive riding position of the Rally bike is also maintained. The African Twin chassis is designed to provide a balance between off-road capabilities, fishing convenience, and kelincancy for daily use.
The Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) feature is available at seven levels, equipped with Wheelie Control three levels and Cornering ABS for optimal control in various conditions. The motor skills are getting more complete thanks to the 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) which monitors braking, motor inclination, and acceleration.
The fully digital 6.5-inch TFT screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay facilitates smartphone integration, plus a five-level adjustment windscreen that helps better visibility. For the DCT variant, motorists can choose an efficient Mode D, a more sporting Mode S, or manual mode.
There is also a G-switch feature that provides more spontaneous torque in low spins when slashing the heavy field. The cornering detector feature also makes dental movement more natural when tilting.
