LPG Imports Without Auction, Bahlil Asks Coordinating Minister Airlangga

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia asked the media crew to directly confirm with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto regarding the import of LPG from the United States which was carried out without auction.

This was conveyed by Bahlil at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 18. Previously, in a number of media, Coordinating Minister Airlangga stated that imports would be carried out without auction.

In fact, to reporters, Bahlil Lahadalia explained that the plan to import oil and gas (oil and gas) from the United States is still in the process of finalizing the scheme. Bahlil also explained that LPG imports from America had actually taken place, while crude oil imports were expected to start in December 2025.
