Had Been Protested Because The Minister's Staff Had To Report Wealth, KPK: People With Integrity Must Want To Be Supervised
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that it had been protested after requiring the minister's special staff to submit a state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN). This obligation is contained in Commission Regulation (Perkom) Number 3 of 2024.
"So there are also those who protest, 'Sir, this is not required according to the group.' But, we return it, 'Do you want to make the organization have integrity or not? If the organization wants integrity, it must also have integrity," said LHKPN Director of Reporting and Audit (PP) of the KPK Herda Helmijaya on the sidelines of a discussion entitled Connecting an Integrity Strengthening Story in Bogor, West Java, Tuesday, November 18.
Helmi said that officials should not need to be uncomfortable when asked to convey their wealth.
One indicator of integrity is that officials or people who sit in high and strategic positions must report LHKPN. He wants to be monitored," he said.
"Because the LHKPN report is an annual one starting from January to March, so later we will see about its obedience after March 2026," continued Helmi.

As for the Perkom, said Helmi, it only took effect six months after its issuance. "Now we are conducting socialization," he said.
"God willing, we can see in 2026 whether they are obedient or not, or whether they want to make this organization of integrity," he continued.
