InJourney Hospitality Prepares 36 Hotels, Aims For Occupancy To Increase By 3 Percent During Nataru
JAKARTA - InJourney Hospitality or Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN) targets a surge in hotel occupancy during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays. The company prepares 36 hotels throughout Indonesia and puts up a projected occupancy growth of around 3 percent compared to the previous period.
President Director of InJourney Hospitality or HIN, Christine Hutabarat, said that currently we manage 36 hotels throughout Indonesia. Divided into several clusters, namely Bali, Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.
Furthermore, Christine said that her party estimates that the spike in visits in the Nataru period this time will occur from 18 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
"So for our prediction, indeed, the increase has occurred since December 18. If, for example, compared to last year and the previous year, the increase was more than 3 percent," he said at a press conference on the readiness and strategic steps of the InJourney Group in welcoming the Nataru period, at the Sarinah Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 18.
Christine also projects that occupancy in the HIN-run 3-star hotel will reach 72 percent, while 4 and 5-star hotels such as The Meru and Bali Beach can penetrate 78 percent.
"For the 5 stars, because we do have Meru and Bali Beach, this is our second year opening, it is up to 78 percent. Now the 4 star is around 78 percent. Then the 3 star is around 72 percent," he said.
To welcome the peak of the holidays, continued Christine, HIN strengthened a number of aspects ranging from promotion early booking, bundling packages, to audit operational readiness at all hotels.

Check-in and check-out are often solid points during high season. That's why we do continuous training, intensive briefing, and prepare 24-hour task force monitoring at all hotels," said Christine.
In addition, said Christine, HIN also adds personal staff to maintain service quality in line with high occupancy targets. The experience of guests is the main focus, including thematic seasonal events, curated dining experience, to local experience that emphasizes Indonesian culture in each hotel.
"Of course there will be additional staff, right, because we are also chasing occupancy at 78 percent," he said,
During this year's holiday period, a number of HIN hotels have prepared festival programs and thematic experiences. One of them is Seaside Festive Symphony which was held at The Meru Sanur and Bali Beach Hotel.
"We continue to ensure that the Indonesian experience is in all of our hotels. Then also of course personalized guest task, it is also very important," said Christine.
