Serious Injury, Benjamin Sesko Is Expected To Recover In December
JAKARTA - Benjamin Sesko is expected to miss the Premier League match when Manchester United host Everton on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, early morning WIB. The striker is expected to recover from injury before the start of the Christmas match schedule.
Sesko had a knee problem while playing a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur before the international break.
He was withdrawn from international duty with Slovenia to undergo treatment at Carrington with Manchester United's medical team.
Initial scanning showed serious injuries. Although a follow-up assessment ruled Sesko would be out, there was hope that his injury would only last a few weeks and he would be able to return to play in December 2025.

Sesko has scored two goals in 12 appearances since his move from Germany last summer.

The Cameroonian has scored six goals in 12 games since his move from Brentford last summer.
Sesko's injury is likely to still affect Joshua Zirkzee's future.
The Dutchman is open to exploring the possibility of moving from Old Trafford in January 2026 to gain more regular playing time and increase his chances of entering the Dutch squad for the 2026 World Cup.
ESPN reports Roma is one of the clubs interested in the 24-year-old.
However, with doubts about Sesko's fitness, it remains unclear whether it is willing to release the only central striker in the middle of the season or not.
Meanwhile, Manchester United also expects interest in midfielder Kobbie Mainoo when the transfer market opens on January 1, 2026.
The England player, who also wants more playing minutes ahead of the 2026 World Cup, is targeted by Napoli.
