Developer Reveals Secrets Kept For 20 Years On Xbox Original
JAKARTA - So far Xbox Original by Microsoft keeps a secret that fans do not know. One of its developers finally released the big secret.
Quoting Engadget, Sunday, May 23, it turns out that the developers installed an 'easter egg' on the Xbox Original console. Interestingly, for almost 20 years of exploring the world market, no one has managed to uncover this secret.
"I didn't really expect it to be found, unless the source code was leaked or someone engineered it behind the Dashboard," said one first-generation console developer who declined to be named.
After uncovering the secret, the console developers showed how to access this easter egg, where gamers have to do the process of copying CDs on their Xbox.
Later, the console will ask gamers to name the album by typing: Timmyyyyy
"Users do not need to count the character of the letter 'y'. They can type 'Timmy' with the letter 'y' until one box before the last box and filled with exclamation marks," explained the developer.
Then, the user must wait until the process is complete. When they're done, the user should open the settings menu and navigate to the System Info option. The console will now display a new credit screen that lists xbox dashboard team members.
"I decided to share it now that it's been 20 years, and I think it would be cool if people knew it really existed," the developer said.
'I also think if I don't do it now, it's likely it will never come to light. I have also almost forgotten how to open for this easter egg," he added.
