Sunter Hulu Monitoring Post Up Alert 2, Residents Of Bantaran Kali In Jakarta Beware Of Floods
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) issued an early warning of the potential for flooding in Jakarta.
Citing the DKI Jakarta BPBD X account, a number of residents in areas in Jakarta were asked to anticipate the possibility of flooding from Bogor, West Java.
The areas include Bambu Apus, Cilangkap, Pondil Rangon, Setu, Lubang Buaya, Pondok Bambu, Pondik Head, Cipinang, Cipinang Melayu, Cipinang Muara, Duren Sawit, Jatinegara Kaum, Kayu Putih, Pulo Gadung, to Sumur Batu.
Furthermore, Kelapa Gading Barat, Head of East Gading, Kebon Bawang, Rawa Badak Selatan, Rawa Bawang, Rawa Badak Utara, to Sungai Bambu.
The potential for flooding shipments is due to the Sunter Hulu monitoring post experiencing an increase in water level (TMA) of 215 centimeters at 15.00 WIB.
This condition caused the Sunter Hulu monitoring post to be on alert 2, with a report four hours later that the water sent will arrive at PA Pulogadung.
It was also reported that conditions at the Sunter Hulu monitoring post were currently drizzling.
