The Ministry Of MSMEs Ensures KUR 2026 Is More Side By Side With MSMEs
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) ensures that the financing of Rakat Business Credit (KUR) in 2026 is more in favor of MSME entrepreneurs in order to spur their contribution to the national economy.
Deputy for Small Business at the Ministry of MSMEs Temmy Satya Permana said this year's KUR financing for MSMEs reached IDR 286 trillion with low interest rates.
Meanwhile, next year, he said, the government will prepare a KUR ceiling for MSMEs to reach Rp320 trillion.
He added that the government had prepared a surprise for the KUR scheme next year.
"What is certain is that in the future we must increasingly side with MSME financing," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 18.
As for the records of the Ministry of MSMEs, the realization of MSME KUR this year reached 83 percent or Rp238 trillion from the target of Rp286 trillion.
The new debtor who is included in this financing scheme has also reached 2.25 million or 96 percent of the target.
Meanwhile, the debtor of graduates who managed to advance to class has exceeded the target of 1.2 million MSMEs to 1.3 million MSMEs.
In 2025, the Ministry of MSMEs has also succeeded in distributing more than 60 percent of the KUR budget to the production sector with the potential for employment reaching 11 million people.
Previously, MSME Minister Maman Abdurrahman stated that starting next year the KUR application would no longer be limited by the application of flat interest at 6 percent.
He explained that so far the taking of KUR has only been limited to four times for the debtor of the production sector and twice for the trade sector, by implementing a tiered interest scheme.
"Now it has been opened, so it can be several times, the repetition can be several times until the MSMEs are really strong and ready to let go," he said when met after holding a meeting related to the distribution of KUR at the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) for Economic Affairs, Jakarta, Monday, November 17.

Maman added that so far the first submission of KUR was subject to 6 percent interest, then continued to increase by 1 percent for the next KUR submission to 9 percent.
Next year, he continued, the KUR interest will remain at 6 percent even though it has been taken several times.
"So if you want the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, all flats are 6 percent. This is also based on the direction from the President to the Financing Committee through the Coordinating Minister for the Economy," he said.
