PGN Records Salurkan 225 Million MMBTU Gas Until October. Here Are The Details!

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) reports that it has distributed 225 million million million British thermal units (MMBTU) calculated from January to October 2025.

PGAS President Director Arief Kurnia Rusdianto explained, out of this total, 47 million MMBTUs were regasifications of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

"As of October 2025, PGN has distributed 255 million MMBTU gas including 47 million MMBTU from LNG," Arief said in a Hearing Meeting with Commission XII quoted on Tuesday, November 18.

He added that PGN also realized gas transmission of 493,000 MMSCF. Not only that, PGN also manages 33,500 kilometers (km) of pipelines and serves more than 824,000 customers from the household, commercial, to industrial sector sectors.

"With the market share currently controlled by PGN exceeding 91 percent, PGN has become the backbone of natural gas distribution in Indonesia," he continued.

As support for environmentally friendly transportation, Arief continued, PGN is currently developing clean energy for transportation through the operation of 14 SPBG and also 4 Mobile Review Units that serve CNG fuel needs for commercial customers as well as transportation including bajaj, taxis and also Transjakarta.

On the other hand, PGN also has a number of gas infrastructures, in the form of 3 LNG regasification terminals, namely 2 floating and 1 ground tread.

"This infrastructure ensures that the need for gas for industry and power plants can still be met so that national economic growth does not experience disruption," said Arief.
