First Season Gets Daesang, Culinary Class Wars 2 Competition Comes Again

JAKARTA - Netflix is again presenting Culinary Class Wars 2 which is a hit cooking competition in South Korea. Tuesday, November 18, they released the latest teaser for their second season which is confirmed to air this year.

This one-minute teaser features several contestants joining this second season along with the food prepared by the contestants.

Some of the contestants announced to join are Lee Jun and Son Jong Won who are chefs with Michelin stars.

Then, there is the Venerable Sunjae which is the master of the dish of the temple and the Hou Deok Juk known as the Chinese food master.

In its first season, Baek Jong Won and Ahn Sung Jae became judges chefs. It is not yet known whether the two will return to be judges in their second season.

Culinary Class Wars is a cooking competition that brings together 100 chefs in the competition and is divided into two teams, namely Black life, which is a non-celebrity chef and White Total who is a celebrity chef. They will compete for 300 million Won.

The first season to receive a positive response also won various awards, including Daesang at the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Series Awards.

The second season was delayed after Baek Jong Won was involved in a controversy over his culinary business line. This month, Baek Jong Won was found not guilty of various cases in his company.

Culinary Class Wars 2 will be released on Netflix starting December 16.
