Today The House Of Representatives Holds Plenary Session To Discuss The Criminal Procedure Code Bill, And Revision Of The Cooperative Law

JAKARTA - The DPR on Tuesday, November 18, is scheduled to hold a plenary meeting with a number of strategic agendas involving supervision, legislation, and institutional arrangement.

In the agenda received by the editors, in the initial session, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) will submit an summary of the results of the first semester examination (IHPS) in 2025 which is the basis for evaluation of the management of state finances by various ministries/agencies.

The agenda continues with level II decisions related to the Draft Criminal Procedure Code (RUU KUHAP). This decision determines whether the revision of the procedural law rule will be passed into law, even though in the midst of polemics regarding the acceleration of the decision.

The DPR factions are then scheduled to express official opinions regarding the Bill on the fourth amendment to Law Number 25/1992 concerning Cooperatives which is an initiative of the Legislation Body of the DPR. After conveying the view, the meeting will continue the process of determining the bill into a bill proposed by the DPR.

The meeting will also hear a report from Commission XI regarding the results of the fit and proper test of the public accounting firm (KAP) which will be appointed as the examiner for the 2025 BPK RI Financial Report, before making a decision.

In closing, the DPR will determine the adjustment of the commission partners with related government institutions which will also be decided in the plenary forum.
