Several Manchester United Players Injured, Hoping Sesko Avoids Serious Knee Injuries
JAKARTA - The news of Benjamin Sesko's injury has not yet come to light. Since being forced off the field in the Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United match, Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Slovenian striker is still being monitored.
Sesko has withdrawn from the Slovenian squad ahead of the international break and will remain at Manchester for further investigation.
The 22-year-old has actually undergone further tests regarding the knee problem he experienced at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the match.
Manchester United staff hope to get a clearer picture of his injury before the Premier League match resumes with Everton's visit to Old Trafford on November 24, 2025.
Sesko clearly had a problem with his knee after receiving a hard tackle from Micky van de Ven. Ruben Amorim conveyed the latest worrying news afterward.

"It (his latest performance) is not the biggest concern right now. I'm worried about his injury due to his injury to his knee, and I don't know for sure."
"We need Ben (Sesko) to be a better team. We have to check him. There is something wrong with his knee. We'll see," Amorim said as quoted by London Evening Standard.
Manchester United hopes the player is not seriously injured. Until now, there has been no update on when the attacker will certainly be able to play again.
The reason is, the Red Devils are on the rise after extending their unbeaten record to five games.
The record almost broke on weekends as the Red Devils fell behind Tottenham until the fifth minute of injury time.
However, Matthijs de Ligt's header in the 96th minute saved a point for Manchester United and ended a streak of four consecutive defeats at the hands of the north London club.
What made the equalizer's goal even more impressive was that the goal came when Manchester United played with 10 players after Benjamin Sesko limped off the pitch and Amorim had already spent the replacement rations.
This dramatic draw did keep Manchester United from winning the final game before the international break for the first time this season, but of course this is a point to be gained given the situation.
The problem is, the international break will be over soon. Amoram is clearly worried about the condition of his squad.
Apart from Sesko, several senior players will also continue to be monitored whether they can return to the team ahead of the match against Everton on November 24.
Call it Harry Maguire who returned to the starting XI against Spurs. Prior to the visit to north London, the defender warmed the bench against Nottingham Forest and missed victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
In the match against Spurs, the defender was forced to be replaced due to a hamstring problem.
A two-week break may be the ideal time for Maguire as he can use it for full recovery. He was also predicted to be back at home to Everton at Old Trafford.
Casemiro is also on the watch list. The Brazilian was off the pitch at the same time as Maguire.
However, according to the London Evening Standard, the midfielder could be available on November 24, 2025.
As for Kobbie Mainoo, his name was canceled in the line-up before the start against Tottenham due to a collision.
The midfielder's place in the squad was then forced to be replaced by young player Jack Fletcher, son of former Manchester United midfielder and current club U-18 coach Darren Fletcher.
Mainoo's injury is said to be light so he is expected to be available for selection after the international break.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have allowed defender Leandro Martinez to join the Argentine squad despite being absent since February 2025.
The 27-year-old has returned to training with Manchester United, but has not played a competitive match.
He joined Argentina during the international break although he would still not be available for the games.
Manchester United has sent a staff member with Martinez to monitor its progress.
