Accuses Officers Of Bringing Home Ragunan Animal Feed, This Warganet Apologizes
JAKARTA - The Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR) is in the spotlight after allegations that some animal feed was brought home by officers.
The allegations coincided with the viral video of tigers looking thin in Ragunan and were widely questioned on social media.
One of them is the owner of the Threads social media account, andini.melda who accused officers of theft of animal feed.
Until finally, TMR met the owner of the account to ask for clarification on his statement. The owner of the Threads andini.melda account.
After being asked for clarification, the holder of the andini.melda account pleaded guilty to having made baseless accusations.
In his statement, he said the comments accusing officers of bringing home feed in the form of 10 kilograms of beef and 10 chickens were not based on any evidence.
"I would like to clarify and apologize to the Ragunan Wildlife Park, to the leadership and staff, in connection with my previous comments regarding the Ragunan Zoo officer who allegedly brought 10 kilos of beef and 10 chicken meat in the Threads media," said the owner of the andini.melda account in a video uploaded to the TMR manager's Instagram account, detananzoo, Monday, November 17.
Andini.melda's account admitted that the comment appeared spontaneously after he saw a video of a tiger looking thin. But he admitted his mistake for spreading information without verification and without confirming the truth of the accusation.
"I hereby submit a clarification, the statement is only based on my personal assumptions without any evidence and accountable information," he said.
"I emphasize that I have no evidence to show Ragunan Wildlife Park officers taking this action," he added.

He also explained that his statement could not be used as a reference and could potentially cause misunderstanding in the community. The woman then apologized publicly to Ragunan's management and all ranks who felt aggrieved by the allegations.
"If my statement causes a misunderstanding, I apologize and straighten out that information cannot be used as a reference. Thus, I made this clarification with full awareness and without coercion from any party so that there would be no further mistakes or negative impacts," he said.
Previously, accusations of fraud in the provision of animal feed in Ragunan have been denied by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung. Pramono admitted that he had checked the truth of the allegations. Based on the report he received, accusations of theft of animal feed to take home tufak were correct.
"Nothing, I've checked. Already," said Pramono at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education Building (Kemendikdasmen), Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 16.
Pramono warned all employees who work in the zoo owned by the DKI Provincial Government not to commit violations as suspected by a handful of people.
"If you dare to take my tiger cub's food, the tiger will not be released later," said Pramono jokingly.
