CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP And Rebel 500 Missing From Honda Official Site

JAKARTA Honda seems to be making adjustments to its product lines in India. Where, premium CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP and Rebel 500 motorcycles no longer appear on the official Honda India website.

This deletion has led to speculation over the availability of the two motorbikes in the market. Both were previously officially marketed and included in the list of active models, as reported by Autocariandia, Monday, November 17.

Even though it has disappeared from the site, there has been no official statement from Honda India regarding the final status of the two models. However, information circulating among industry states that this withdrawal may only be temporary due to the unit's exhausted allocation, not necessarily a permanent cessation of production.

The bike may come back if Honda allocates a new unit to the Indian market, but that's still uncertain for now. A similar phenomenon has occurred in other models such as CB300R, which was removed from the site because its availability is running low.

This situation shows that the loss of a model from the official website does not necessarily mean permanent termination of sales. It is known that the latest Rebel 500 launched in India earlier this year, and the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP was introduced last September.

CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is known as a high-performance supersport motorcycle with a four-cylinder 999 cc engine. This model is capable of generating power of around 217.5 PS in high rotation and 113 Nm torque.

The weight is in the 200 kilogram range with a tank of about 16 liters. The premium suspension from Ohlins at the front and back is one of the main selling points, accompanied by a two-way quickshifter system and complete electronic control technology.

Meanwhile, Rebel 500, which is in the crudeer segment and uses a two-cylindrical 471 cc engine that produces 46.22 PS power and 43.3 Nm torque. Rebel 500 is known as a crudeer that is friendly to use by various groups.
