2 Years Of Vacuum, VERIVERY's Hoyoung Chooses To Leave The Military

Shocking news came from Hoyoung. For two years of vacuum from VERIVERY's activities, he was announced to have left for military service.

Monday, November 17, Jellyfish Entertainment as the agency that oversees VERIVERY shared the news through social media to fans.

"Hoyoung will be serving in the military as a member of public services starting November 27," said Jellyfish Entertainment.

"No separate events were held before he left and because many members of the military were present with their families at the ceremony, we asked fans not to visit the venue," the agency said.

Ending his statement, Jellyfish stated, "We ask for your love and support so that Hoyoung can complete the task and return in good condition. Thank you."

Hoyoung himself has been on hiatus from VERIVERY activities since 2023. At that time, the agency explained that Hoyoung was on hiatus due to health problems.

VERIVERY also took part in the Boys Planet event and became known so they planned a comeback.

The group is promoting with five members on their latest album Lost & Found.

Hoyoung became the second member of VERIVERY to serve in the military after Donncheon.
