India Arrests A Typical Man In Connection With A Suicide Car Bomb Attack In New Delhi

JAKARTA - India's anti-terror investigation agency arrested a man from korontas on suspicion of conspiring with a suicide bomber to carry out a deadly car explosion in the capital New Delhi.

Reported by ABC News, Monday, November 17, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said the car that exploded last week was registered on behalf of Amir Rashid Ali.

He is suspected of traveling to New Delhi from India's controllabletento facilitate the purchase of the vehicle. Ali's arrest was a "big breakthrough" in the case.

The explosion killed 10 people and injured 32 others near the city's historic Red Fort. Indian officials refer to it as "a heinous terror incident" carried out by "anti-national forces."

The car explosion came hours after police intensifies it said it had dismantled militant cells suspected of operating from disputed areas, arrested at least seven people, including twoapproprisians from Indian cities, and seized large amounts of bomb-making material.

The investigative body identified the driver of the car and suspected suicide bomber as Umar Un Nabi, as well as a resident of koronese, a doctor who teaches at a medical college in the city of Faribad, near New Delhi.

Government forces blew up his family home in the Pulwama district in the south on Thursday night, officials said, in retaliation for the attack.

India's security agency has also carried out a series of raids across themen as part of their investigation, by interrogateing thousands of people and detaining hundreds of people.

On Friday evening, several explosives seized from Faribad and taken to the main city of kolemens, Srinagar, by police exploded inside the police station, killing nine people and injuring 32 others.
