The Issue Of 10 Kg Of Meat Brought Home By Officers Every Day, Ragunan Opens The Door To Pramono Holds Sidak
JAKARTA - The manager of the Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR), South Jakarta, stated that he was ready and open if a sudden inspection (sidak) was carried out regarding the alleged animal feed brought home by officers, as viral on Threads social media.
"Yes, we are very open if there is an inspection," said the Head of Public Relations of TMR, Wahyudi Bambang, when contacted in Jakarta, Antara, Monday, November 17.
The statement was in response to viral uploads on social media X which accused officers of alleged animal feed corruption through the practice of bringing home meat.
Related to this, his party is also ready to accept the arrival of DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung to ensure the truth of the issue firsthand.
"The plan is that the Governor will visit Ragunan," said Wahyudi.
He reiterated that the provision of animal feed had been carried out as needed, including aspects of health and daily care. Therefore, the information spread in the viral upload is considered untrue and does not reflect the factual conditions in TMR.
Wahyudi explained that all stages of providing feed ranging from the procurement of materials, preparation, to giving to animals are under the supervision of curators, veterinarians, nutritionists, feed managers, and animal nurses.
Previously, a post on the Threads platform went viral for accusing TMR of feed corruption, causing the animal to look thin. In the upload, it was stated that every day it was suspected that 10 kilograms of beef and 10 chickens were brought home and resold by officers.
