The chairman and member of the KY Pansel, Dhana Putra, accompanied by members of the Pansel Widodo and Maulana Bungaran, reported the results of the selection in a meeting explaining the mechanism and results of the selection of prospective KY members at the Parliament Complex, Senayan.

There are eight stages of selecting candidates for KY members. First is announcement and registration, second is administrative selection, third is quality selection, fourth is profile assessment, fifth is track record, sixth is community response, seventh is interview test, and finally health test," said Dhana.

He explained that through letter number B-61/PANSEL-KY/10/2025 dated October 2, 2025, the Pansel had submitted to the President the results of the selection which were carried out objectively, transparently, and accountably. Based on these results, seven candidates were declared to have passed and met the provisions of the legislation.

The seven names of KY candidates submitted to the DPR are F. Williem Saija and Setyawan Hartono from the elements of the former judge; Anita Kadir and Desmihardi from the legal practitioners; then Andi Muhammad Asrun and Abdul Chair Ramadhan from the legal academic element; and Abhan from elements of community leaders.

"Alhamdulillah, the Pansel has conveyed it to the DPR. God willing, today until the next few days, the DPR will deepen the seven prospective KY members," said Dhana.

The fit and proper test is scheduled to last for three days, from Monday to Wednesday, November 17'19. Before the session began, the seven candidates took serial numbers and made papers in Commission III.

The plan is that December 21, 2025, must be inaugurated, because the long term ends on December 20. So we hope that on December 21, there will be KY members for the 2025-2030 period," concluded Dhana.
