Replace SF90 Stradale, Ferrari 849 Testarossa Officially Debuts In Thailand
JAKARTA - Ferrari 849 Testarossa appeared for the first time in the ASEAN region through an official event in Bangkok, Thailand. This model replaces SF90 Stradale as Ferrari's top line in the regular supercar category, marking the return of the legendary name Testarossa to the Ferrari mass production lineup.
Ferrari explained that 849 Testarossa came with a large increase in aerodynamics and cooling. This car is capable of producing 415 kilograms of downforce at a speed of 250 km per hour, or an increase of 25 kilograms compared to its predecessor.
Front air intake is designed to be 18 percent larger so that the wind supply to the radiator is more optimal. On the side, the doors are made with new contours to increase airflow towards intercoolers by up to 30 percent, while the intercooler surface area increases by 19 percent.
The back features two wing elements inspired by 1970s racing cars such as the Ferrari 512 S, which also helps improve stability. Behind the engine hood, Ferrari installed a 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine coded F154FC.

Reporting from Paultan, Monday, November 17, the engine produces 830 PS and 842 Nm of torque, an increase from the previous power in SF90. The unit is combined with three electric motors, a total of 220 PS.
The plug-in hybrid system provides a total output of 1,050 PS, making it the largest production model for Ferrari. The acceleration of zero to 100 km per hour is reached in 2.25 seconds and 200 km per hour in 6.3 seconds, with a peak speed of more than 330 km per hour.
Ferrari also provides a full electric driving mode with a distance of about 25 kilometers. Switch to the cabin, get a redesign to provide a more natural experience.
The physical button is again used on the steering wheel after previously being replaced by a touch panel. The dental voter lever is now placed on the central pillar in a format reminiscent of the classic Ferrari gate shiftr style.
This model also provides comfort seats and carbon fiber seats, especially if the buyer chooses the Assetto Fiorano package. The package lowers the weight by about 30 kilograms through the use of carbon and light seats.
Ferrari calls the choice of the name 'Testarossa' a sign that this model is at the peak of their regular vehicle line. The name was first used at 500 TR in 1956 and then soared in the 1980s.
The 849 figure itself refers to a combination of eight cylinders and a capacity of 499 cc per cylinder. Unfortunately, the price has not been announced for the ASEAN region and the production of this model is scheduled to start in mid-2026, with the coup version rolling out before the Spider variant follows.
