Governor Pramono Anung Denies The Issue Of Theft Of Animal Feeds In Ragunan
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung denied that there was a practice of obstruction to the provision of animal feed at the Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR), where some of the food that should have been given to animals was brought home by officers.
This allegation was made by netizens on social media. Some of them claimed to have received the story from the Ragunan officer they recognized.
Pramono admitted that he had checked the truth of the allegations. Based on the report he received, the accusation of theft of animal feed to take home tufak was true.
"Nothing, I've checked. Already," said Pramono at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education Building (Kemendikdasmen), Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 16.
Pramono warned all employees who work in the zoo owned by the DKI Provincial Government not to commit violations as suspected by a handful of people.
"If you dare to take my tiger cub's food, the tiger will not be released later," said Pramono jokingly.
It is known, this issue is widely discussed on social media. One of them is by the social media account Threads love_satwa_alam which uploads a video of a tiger walking back and forth in Ragunan. At first glance, the tiger looks thin.
