Xiaomi Reportedly Prepares Update Version For SU7 Sedan, Launch In Close Time?

JAKARTA - Xiaomi is considered successful in entering the environmentally friendly vehicle segment, with the order for its first electric car, SU7, which is quite large, and the second model YU7 is also quite in demand.

Most recently, Xiaomi is reportedly preparing an update version of the first SU7 model. Based on a report by Carnewschina, quoted on Sunday, November 16, it was caught on the upgraded SU7 sedan camera, unfortunately it is still shrouded in full camouflage.

However, it is reported that the model will get 12 software upgrades and a price increase of 9,900 yuan or around Rp. 23 million. In addition, the exterior design has also changed.

Other enhancements that are claimed include the 900V high-voltage electricity architecture, Thor-U chips for smart driving functions, and additions such as suspensions, to massage dates.

However, some sources expect core powertrains to remain similar to the current SU7, with changes concentrated on electronic and chassis components.

Regarding the news, several staff at Xiaomi retail stores stated that they did not know about it. However, speculation is getting stronger because Xiaomi is two years old which means, it could get a little adjustment.
