Ruben Onsu Surprised Sarwendah Holds A Conference After Being Visited By Debt Collector Salah Address

JAKARTA The peaceful atmosphere at Sarwendah's residence was disturbed by the arrival of two debt collectors looking for the Range Rover car belonging to her ex-husband, Ruben Onsu.

Sarwendah responded directly to this debt problem by holding a press conference (concers). Through his attorneys, Chris Sam Siwu and Abraham Simon, Sarwendah admitted that the arrival of debt collectors disturbed children psychologically.

Abraham Simon explained that the incident occurred on Friday, November 7, at around 17.00 WIB. Two debt collectors came to Sarwendah's house to collect arrears in Land Rover's car installments on behalf of RSO (Ruben Onsu).

"This is what shocked our client quite a bit, and there were also children there. So indeed, the client immediately informed us," said Abraham.

Chris added that his client was not at all related to the debt debt referred to by the debt collector. According to him, the car was purchased after their divorce and not in his name.

"Our client has never owed the car in question. The arrival also had communication with our client, stating that the car was purchased after the wedding period was over," said Chris.

Chris suspected that it was intentional that the debt collector had charged the car arrears to its home address. It is known that the two debt collectors were parked at Sarwendah's residence based on information from Ruben's assistant.

"Our client is very disturbed. That means, yes, that's his business, why come to us? It seems that there are parties who deliberately want our client's house to be visited," added Chris.

Ruben Onsu questioned Sarwendah's response through his lawyer, Minola Sebayang. He was surprised that the urgency of holding a press conference was only due to the problem of the wrong debt collector's arrival. According to him, the action should be suspected as a way to corner Ruben.

"It is reasonable to suspect that his prescons only want to discredit our client, Ruben. He wants to show that Ruben is now in a state that is not economically capable," said Minola.

Minola straightened out that the arrears had not yet matured, or at least only one day late, so the arrival of debt collectors was considered strange and did not comply with OJK procedures. He also confirmed that the position of the car was in the workshop, not Sarwendah's house.

"If the person who came was in the wrong address, we just have to say, 'You have the wrong address'. That's as simple as that, right? Well, why is it a big thing that has to be conveyed to the public?" he asked.

Furthermore, Minola accused this incident of being exaggerated to divert the main issue, namely Ruben's right to meet his children which was allegedly blocked by Sarwendah.

"The most important thing is how Ruben can get his right to meet his son. This is not. It is not allowed to go to school," said Minola.
