Old Pixel Phones Will Get Call Recording Features
JAKARTA Google has introduced a call recording feature for Pixel phones, but only in the new series. Now, this feature will be present in the older Pixel series.
The expansion of this feature is in accordance with Google's announcement last September. At that time, Google said that it would bring standard call recording features for models other than the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 series.
Launching from Android Police, a number of old Pixel users have received this feature. In order for this feature to appear, users must run the November Feature Update on their cellphones.
In addition, the Google Phone application is required with a version of v198 or later, including from the beta channel. If this feature is available, users can find it in the Phone app Settings, to be precise under the Call Help option.
Next, you can enable the Call Recording toggle and complete the settings process. Once enabled, the user can set the recording automatically.

Users can set the feature to record calls from numbers that are not in your contact list or just for certain numbers. In addition to recording automatically, a special record button will also appear on the active call screen.
Users can tap this button at any time they want to start manually recording calls. When recording starts, the Phone app will play a warning message or a bibit sound automatically.
It aims to notify other parties that calls are being recorded, in accordance with applicable regulations. There is no way to disable the warning message.
