PAN Proposes Jokowi To Build Jokowi Institute In Today's Memory, November 15, 2022

They did not only agree that the 2024 presidential election would be postponed. However, they want President Jokowi to serve for three terms. This means that Jokowi serves more than the constitution stipulates. The constitution only wants the President of Indonesia to serve for two terms.

The narrative was voiced by all village heads throughout Indonesia. Several circles of ministers also expressed the same desire. This wish was opposed by many parties. The discourse of the President of Indonesia for three terms is considered to be able to create chaos.

Whoever wants Jokowi to have three terms, they must first riot with the constitution. Megawati and PDIP also opposed the discourse circulating. Megawati emphasized that the rules for playing the Presidential office had been regulated in the 1945 Constitution.

This rule cannot be changed arbitrarily. Rejection after rejection made Jokowi speak up. He considered it natural when there were groups who wanted him to serve three terms. However, the proposed case is accepted or not, it's a different matter.

Jokowi also admitted that he wanted to maintain the constitutional mandate. This means that Jokowi feels that it is enough to only serve for two terms and retire.
