The Ministry Of Public Works Targets The Duplication Of The Manyar Bridge In Gresik To Be Completed This Year
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo targets that the duplication of the Manyar Bridge Number 10B in Gresik Regency, East Java, will be completed by the end of December 2025.
"Our target is actually at the end of December 2025, but we are accelerating so that the completion of the work can be done earlier," said Dody in a written statement, Friday, November 14.
The Duplicating project of the Manyar Bridge No. 10B was built with a span of 80 meters.
The goal is to increase the capacity of national roads, facilitate the flow of vehicles to and from the JIIPE Special Economic Zone (KEK) and support the smooth logistics line of the East Java Cross Road.
Head of the East Java National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) Bali Javid Hurriyanto said the application of the Manyar Bridge was built worth IDR 27.819 billion, with a completion target at the end of December 2025 in accordance with the contract.
For the current physical progress, it is around 73.60 percent and in the near future, casting will be carried out.
"We are targeting functionality in early December, so God willing, by Nataru, the bridge can be passed by the community," he explained.
