Fire At Tebu Hotel Bandung, 7 Fire Cars Deployed

BANDUNG - The Fire and Rescue Service (DPMKP) of Bandung City, West Java deployed seven fire engines to deal with the fire that hit the Tebu Hotel on Jalan RE Martadinata, Bandung.

Head of the Bandung City DPMKP Agency, Soni Bakhtiyar, said that his party responded quickly to the report and reached a response time of about three minutes.

"Today we received reports of a fire at the hotel. We deployed seven fire engines with a response-time of about three minutes," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 14.

He explained that the source of the fire came from the hotel reasons room which then spread to the meeting room in the building area.

"The cause of the fire came from the kiosk room. There was a hall for the meeting that had caught fire in a third," he said.

His party is still conducting an investigation to find out the exact cause of the fire in the forced room.

"Why can this bunker room catch fire, we are currently investigating further so that we know the exact cause," he said.

Currently, the cooling process at the location has been carried out by officers after the fire was successfully extinguished.

"Currently we are cooling down," he said.

Soni ensured that hotel operational activities in general returned to normal after the blackout and cooling process was completed.

He explained that a number of areas had been reopened for guests and internal operations, except for the gift room which was temporarily closed until further inspection and repairs were completed.

According to him, the entire series of fire handlings went smoothly without significant technical problems.
