Indra Sjafri Hopes Marselino And Adrian Wibowo Join Indonesia U-23 For The 2025 SEA Games
JAKARTA The U-23 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, hopes that Marselino Ferdinand and Adrian Wibowo can join the team to face the 2025 SEA Games next month in Thailand.
The tactician from Batang Kapas, West Sumatra, has said that PSSI is trying to keep the two names in the Garuda Muda squad.
"Now we are waiting for PSSI's efforts to players who in terms of regulations still have requirements, including Marselino and Adrian Wibowo," said Indra Sjafri in Jakarta.
Currently, as many as 30 names have been summoned by Indra Sjafri to the training camp which took place in Jakarta. However, the two names were not included.

However, Marselino and Adrian have been registered in the interim squad for the 2025 SEA Games. Thus, both have the opportunity to enter the squad for the biennial event.
"Of the 30 names (who have been summoned), almost all of them have implemented several items set that we need to validate who will enter the 23 players brought to Thailand," said Indra.
The Garuda Muda squad is scheduled to undergo two trials against Mali U-23, respectively on 15 and 18 November 2025 at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency, West Java.
This is the second phase of trials undertaken by Kadel Arel and colleagues. Previously, Indra Sjafri's squad had undergone two first-stage trials in October 2025 against India U-23.
Indonesia is the defending champion at the SEA Games event. Previously in the 2023 edition in Cambodia, Garuda Muda took the highest podium to end the fast for a football gold medal that lasted for 32 years.
