KUR Distribution In West Sumatra Reaches IDR 6.45 Trillion Until October 2025

JAKARTA - The government ensures that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) in West Sumatra Province will continue and be accessible to the public until the end of 2025.

This assurance was obtained from the results of monitoring and evaluation activities of KUR distribution carried out by the Deputy for Coordination of BUMN Business Management and Development at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs together with KUR distributors and related stakeholders.

As of October 31, 2025, the distribution of KUR in West Sumatra has reached IDR 6.46 trillion to 104,389 debtors, placing this province in the ranks of ten provinces with the largest KUR distribution nationally.

KUR distribution in West Sumatra is dominated by KUR Mikro amounting to Rp4.13 trillion, followed by KUR Kecil Rp2.34 trillion, KUR Super Micro Rp2.33 billion, and KUR Placement PMI Rp105 million.

Based on the economic sector, 64 percent of KUR distribution is directed to the production sector, while 36 percent is for the non-production sector. From the regional side, Padang City recorded the highest distribution with a value of Rp. 881.89 billion, followed by Pesisir Selatan Regency of Rp. 828.52 billion, and West Pasaman Regency of Rp. 602.77 billion.

Meanwhile, nationally, the realization of KUR for the same period reached IDR 228.05 trillion or 80.17 percent of the 2025 national ceiling target of IDR 284.47 trillion.

Deputy for Coordination of Business Management and Development of State-Owned Enterprises Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ferry Irawan said the Government continues to optimize the distribution of KUR nationally, and ensures that the implementation of this program runs on target and quality.

"For this reason, we always strengthen coordination with various Ministries/Institutions and KUR distributors, including in the West Sumatra region," he said in his statement, quoted Friday, November 14.

He added that the monitoring and evaluation of KUR performance in West Sumatra Province is part of the Government's steps to accelerate the distribution of KUR and ensure that access to financing for business actors is maintained until the end of 2025.

According to him, this activity is also a follow-up to the results of the Working Meeting of Committee IV DPD RI with the Minister of Finance on November 3, 2025, which specifically highlighted the importance of accelerating the distribution of KUR in the West Sumatra region.

Ferry added that from the results of coordination with the six largest KUR distributors in this area, namely Nagari Bank, BRI, Bank Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BSI, it was confirmed that the KUR quota in West Sumatra was still sufficient and accessible to the public until the end of 2025.

According to him, this certainty shows that the commitment of the Government and KUR Distributors to maintain the availability of productive financing for MSME actors continues to be carried out consistently.

"Through this evaluation activity, the Government hopes that the distribution of KUR in West Sumatra will not only increase in terms of quantity, but also be of higher quality, on target, and have a real impact on regional economic growth," he explained.
